Rocksmith 2014 is an effective, fun way to learn guitar and bass songs, but on PC it needs modding to run and no longer includes licensed songs. Skip it if you want plug-and-play or a built-in song library.
Great for
Guitar or bass players happy to tinker with mods and CDLC who want a fun way to practice
Main risk
Game won't launch or detect your audio without mods, and ships with almost no songs
41 recent reviews
Recent negative reviews mostly report the game failing to run or set up, and missing or delisted songs. Not clearly a new bug or patch, so confidence is moderate.
