A charming, catchy Patapon-style rhythm roguelite with great art and music, but the 1.0 release is repetitive, grindy and thin on content. Skip it if you want a true Patapon sequel.
Great for
Patapon fans and rhythm fans who enjoy short grindy roguelite runs, especially in co-op with friends
Main risk
Expecting a deep Patapon successor and getting a repetitive, grind-heavy game with little new since early access
89 recent reviews
Recent negatives say the full release is nearly identical to early access, with unmet Kickstarter goals, a higher price, bugs and announced paid DLC. Fairly confident.
