A very long, brutally difficult deck-builder with a standout story, characters and music. Skip it if you dislike grinding, RNG, heavy reading or a confusing UI.
Great for
Story-focused players who enjoy heavy reading, deep deck-building and hard, punishing boss fights
Main risk
Grindy, RNG-heavy gameplay with spiky difficulty and a poor tutorial and UI can become exhausting

“this game is truly unplayable without mods, despite its amazing art, story, characters and music. my biggest gripe is how when you fail a level you lose books, which artificially prolongs the game by forcing you to grind.”
