Streamlined Civ-like focused on war

“It's minimal approach, with little to micromanage and a focus making your little dudes fight makes this a game I wish I picked up sooner.”

A streamlined, war-only 40K Civ-like with distinct factions and fun multiplayer, but the base game is thin and the DLC is very expensive. Skip it if DLC-gated content bothers you.
Great for
Warhammer 40K fans who want Civ-style turn-based conquest with no diplomacy, solo or with friends
Main risk
Base game feels incomplete: units and most factions are locked behind $150-200 of DLC
