Free to play

A free-to-start digital board game sandbox with a huge licensed library, but play is manual, controls are clunky and bugs and a pricey subscription hurt. Skip it if you can buy Tabletop Simulator.
Great for
Players trying board games before buying, or playing remotely with friends who lack Tabletop Simulator
Main risk
Many good games sit behind a pricey subscription and the clunky, buggy platform feels worse than Tabletop Simulator
