A huge, addictive gather-craft-fight JRPG with tons of content and cozy charm, but the late game is a heavy RNG grind and co-op is limited. Skip it if you dislike grinding or want real co-op.
Great for
Players who enjoy chill grinding, crafting and leveling many jobs, especially 3DS original or Animal Crossing fans
Main risk
Repetitive RNG-heavy grind, weaker story and world than the 3DS original, and weak co-op
