A God of War-style gothic action-adventure with striking art, music and story, held back by fixed cameras, QTEs, spongy enemies and tedious puzzles. Skip it if you expect a Metroidvania Castlevania.
Great for
Fans of classic God of War-style hack and slash who value atmosphere, art direction and story
Main risk
Fixed camera, QTEs and repetitive combat get frustrating, and it isn't a classic Castlevania
