A faithful, nicely upscaled remaster of the 2001 castle-builder/RTS classic with a strong campaign and soundtrack. Skip it if you want AI skirmish or already own the HD edition.
Great for
Nostalgic Stronghold fans and newcomers who enjoy solo campaigns mixing economy and castle defense
Main risk
No skirmish vs AI, so replayability ends after the campaigns, and the price feels high for the changes
