A landmark first-person stealth classic with superb atmosphere, sound design and sprawling levels. The Steam version needs the TFix patch, and the controls and maze-like later levels can frustrate newcomers.
Great for
Patient stealth and immersive sim fans who like atmosphere and exploration and don't mind patching
Main risk
Needs TFix to run properly, and the clunky controls and labyrinthine levels can make it frustrating
