A gorgeous, tense roguelite take on Darkest Dungeon with deep party-building, but very different from DD1, with 2-3 hour runs and heavy grind. Skip if you want DD1 again or hate RNG.
Great for
Roguelite fans who enjoy hard turn-based combat, party synergies and dark atmosphere, and accept it differs from DD1
Main risk
Expecting a true DD1 sequel and getting 2-3 hour runs, grindy meta-progression and punishing RNG
97 recent reviews
Recent negatives focus on unfair RNG, long runs and the game not respecting time. Steam's recent score is lower than all-time; no single patch is clearly named.
