A quirky, deep sci-fi RTS with four very different factions and a great unit designer, held back by dated controls, clunky UI and an old activation system. Skip it if you want a polished modern RTS.
Great for
Fans of old-school, complex RTS who love customizing units and asymmetric factions
Main risk
Activation/DRM and dated clunky controls can block or sour the experience

“I wish modern RTS games had this level of customization. Being able to swap out chassis and weapons to counter the enemy is just brilliant design.”

“I love how each faction plays completely differently. UCS has mechs, ED has tanks, LC has floating tech, Aliens morph. It's true asymmetry.”
