A deep, addictive mercenary-management tactics game with great turn-based combat, but with very expensive DLC, in-world DLC ads, crashes and badly broken co-op. Skip it if you want co-op or hate DLC bloat.
Great for
Solo players who like XCOM or Battle Brothers style tactics, party management and open-world sandbox play
Main risk
Over $100 of DLC the balance leans on, plus crashes, memory leaks and broken co-op
159 recent reviews
Recent negatives cite co-op that crashes or won't connect, steady crashes and bugs, and base-game balance tied to DLC. These are many separate complaints, so confidence is moderate.
