The verdict

A pioneering, brutally realistic Eastern Front WW2 shooter with great gunplay and tanks, but vanilla multiplayer is nearly dead. Skip it unless you'll use the free Darkest Hour mod or bots.

Great for

Realism-minded WW2 fans who want the Darkest Hour mod cheaply, or enjoy slow tactical shooters and tank crews

Main risk

Vanilla multiplayer is nearly empty, leaving you with dumb bots and dated, clunky controls.
